Crew Change

We have highly qualified staff that on call 24 hours 7 days a week to assist crew embarkation/disembarkation to/from vessels anywhere in Egyptian ports

We arrange:

  • OK to board
  • LOG (If required)
  • Meeting/Assistance in Cairo Airport
  • Visa Entry
  • Hotel Accommodation (If Required)
  • Transportations From/To Airport/Port
  • Immigrations Formalities
  • Medical assistance , doctor visit (If Required)

Documentation & Visa requirements

Joining crew should hold the followings :

  • Contract of employment
  • Introduction letter from owners detailing ship's name, arrival port and port shipping agent
  • Valid seaman book & passport
  • Officers should bear their license of competency

Repatriating crew should hold valid seaman book & passport recommended that PTA tickets are collectable from airlines desk at Cairo airport and NOT from airlines town offices
Repatriating flight tickets which are carried by joining crew are to be detailed to us prior off-signer disembarkation from vessel
Western European/USA citizens do not require entry visa, OK to board or invitation letters
Indian, Pakistanian, Bangladeshian, Somalian & Srilankian Crew require visa prior arriving Cairo airport An invitation letter from our side is required for visa application
Philippine and other nationalities are required to obtain an OK to board letter from us and must have a Guarantee letter prior to arrival.Thereafter visa can be granted on arrival Cairo airport
As per Egyptian regulations, Far Eastern / African crew are not permitted to board ship flying flag other than that of their nationality
Master/officers may be excluded from this rule provided bearing translated license of competency
Concerning crew change in Suez Canal zone, please note the followings:
Women not holding seamen's book may be considered as passengers, who can affect the Suez Canal tolls charged if ship in ballast condition, unless her husband rated as master
To ensure a timely 'handover' between changing crew, we recommend that On-signers embark at port of entry and Off-signers disembark at port of Exit
